The Newburyport/Rockport Line offers a scenic ride along coastal waters and inland marshes in communities located both on the North Shore and within the Merrimack Valley. The Newburyport/Rockport Line runs from Boston’s North Station to Beverly, where it then splits and continues to both Newburyport and Rockport. Be sure to double-check the schedule to ensure you are on the right line.

During the Sumner Tunnel Closure (Between July 5 – August 5), one-way and monthly travel from any station along the entire Newburyport/Rockport Line is discounted to the Zone 1A rate. Ride cost will be $2.40 one-way or anyZone 1Apass will be accepted. More information is available atMBTA.com/sumner
